PPV Fusion: Hell In A Cell 2015

by Firefly on 26th October 2015

The 2015 WWE Hell In A Cell Pay-Per-View starts with a video hyping the matches to take place later on in the night, followed by John Cena making his way out to kick things off with a United States Championship Open Challenge.

A familiar theme plays, so it seems that Jack Swagger is going to be the one to challenge John Cena. The graphics and video don’t change to agree with that however, and it is Zeb Colter who makes his way out riding a mobility scooter.

Zeb Colter says that some people like John Cena, but that some don’t, so he thinks it is time for people of different backgrounds and countries to come together, as well as Cena lose the US title to someone who will do more with it than Cena ever has.

To widespread surprise and welcome from the crowd (and likely many at home too), Colter introduces Alberto Del Rio as Cena’s challenger. The match sees Del Rio get the victory, when he hits Cena with a low superkick to the face for the 3-count to become the new United States Champion.

After an interaction backstage involving Triple H, Stephanie McMahon, Seth Rollins and Kane, and a video recapping the events that led to the upcoming match, Bray Wyatt takes on Roman Reigns in a Hell In A Cell match.

The match sees Reigns get the victory, when he hits Wyatt with a spear for the 3-count.

After a video hyping the release of “The Condemned 2” starring Randy Orton, and a video recapping the events that led to the upcoming match, “The New Day” Kofi Kingston and Big E (with a trombone which is said to be all that is left of Xavier Woods) are pitted against “The Dudley Boyz” Bubba Ray and D-Von for the WWE Tag Team Championship.

The match sees Kingston get the victory for his team to retain the titles, when he hits Bubba Ray with Trouble in Paradise for the 3-count.

After a video recapping the events that led to the upcoming match, Charlotte goes against Nikki Bella in a match for the Divas Championship. The match sees Charlotte counter Nikki’s attempt at the Rack Attack into the Figure-Eight Leg Lock which leaves Nikki with no other choice but to tap out.

Afterwards, Charlotte celebrates in the ring with fellow members of Team PCB, Paige and Becky Lynch.

After an interaction backstage involving Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose, and a video recapping the events that led to the upcoming match, Seth Rollins takes on “Demon” Kane in a match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship which has the added stipulation that a loss for “Demon” Kane would also mean “Corporate” Kane losing his job as the Director Of Operations.

The match sees Rollins get the victory to retain his title, when he hits Kane with a Pedigree for the 3-count.

After checking in with the Hell In A Cell Panel (comprised of Renee Young, Corey Graves, WWE Hall of Famer Booker T and Byron Saxton), a video recaps the Kickoff (Pre-Show) match between the team of Dolph Ziggler, Cesaro and Neville and the team of King Barrett, Sheamus and Rusev which saw Neville hit the Red Arrow for the 3-count to give his team the victory.

After a video recapping the events that led to the upcoming match, Kevin Owens is pitted against Ryback in a match for the Intercontinental Championship. The match sees Owens get the victory and retain his title, when he gives Ryback a poke to the eye without the referee noticing and follows it up with a Popup Powerbomb for the 3-count.

After a video hyping the “Breaking Ground” show on WWE Network, and a video recapping the events that led to the upcoming match, Brock Lesnar (accompanied by Paul Heyman) goes against The Undertaker in a Hell In A Cell match.

The match sees Lesnar get the victory, when he hits The Undertaker with a low blow and follows it up with the third F-5 of the match for the 3-count.

Lesnar leaves afterwards with Paul Heyman in celebration, but not without a struggle. The Undertaker struggles to sit up, but the crowd erupts in “Thank You ‘Taker” chants as he does. He struggles to get to his feet and ends up doing so with the aid of the ropes, but once he has got his bearings he stands toe the applause of the crowd and announcers standing in respect at ringside, and he then walks over to the middle of the ring to drop to a knee for his customary bow.

Instead of his music and lighting hitting however, Bray Wyatt’s music hits and he makes his way to the ring with Wyatt Family members Luke Harper and Braun Strowman, where they all then proceed to surround Undertaker and attack him.

Nobody comes to the aid of The Undertaker, instead The Wyatt Family carry the beaten-down Undertaker from the ring on their shoulders as Hell In A Cell goes off the air.
