Raw Fusion: A Shield From Injustice
The 26th November 2012 episode of Monday Night Raw starts with a video hyping Michael Cole’s upcoming interview with Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, and Dean Ambrose later in the episode, as well as more on the AJ “scandal”, followed by Ryback taking on Titus O’Neil to kick off the show.
The match sees Ryback get the victory, when he hits O’Neil with the Shell-Shock for the 3-count. Afterwards, he refuses to leave the ring until he gets the three men from NXT who attacked him, as well as CM Punk.
When Vickie Guerrero makes her presence known, he threatens to tear the place apart until he gets what he wants, forcing her to agree to his demand to face CM Punk at TLC in a Tables, Ladders, and Chairs match.
After a video recapping the events involving Rosa Mendes and Hornswoggle during The Great Khali’s match against Primo and Epico last week, and a video recapping an interaction backstage involving Rosa Mendes, Hornswoggle, Alberto Del Rio, and The Great Khali earlier in the day, Alberto Del Rio is pitted against The Great Khali (accompanied by Hornswoggle).
The match sees Del Rio get the victory, which makes Rosa Mendes happy as she is shown watching on a monitor backstage, when Del Rio puts Khali in the cross-armbreaker, forcing him to tap out.

After a video recapping the events involving John Cena, AJ, Vickie Guerrero, and Dolph Ziggler last week and on SmackDown! (click here for our SmackDown! report), John Cena makes his way out to the ring and starts to talk about how people have asked whether AJ is a good kisser.
He says that he wouldn’t usually “kiss and tell”, but on this occasion would make an exception, only to be interrupted by Vickie Guerrero, who makes her way to the ring and presents him with matching bathrobes for him and AJ.
Vickie claims that Cena’s world will come down around him due to the “psychotic” AJ Lee, as she then lists the events involving AJ over the past few months, until she is interrupted by AJ’s music hitting and her making her way to the ring.
AJ admits that the events Vickie listed were true, but she acknowledges her mistakes and is trying to learn from them. She says that this whole scandal was based upon the premise that she and Cena were having a relationship while she was the General Manager or Monday Night Raw, but thanks to Vickie, she isn’t the General Manager any more.
As a result, she says that this means that she can do whatever she wants, giving visual examples of running her hand through Cena’s hair and patting him on the ass (prompting him to drop the microphone in his hand in surprise, before quickly picking it back up), or getting close enough to kiss him until Vickie interrupts and says that she gets AJ’s point.
AJ says that she isn’t a “love-sick puppy” any more and that between the two of them, there is only one “female dog” in the ring, but Dolph Ziggler’s music hits and he makes his way out to the stage, where he says that they are losing sight of the fact that he attacked Cena last week and Cena just lay there and took it.
Ziggler claims that Cena then cheap-shotted him with an unprovoked attack from behind on SmackDown!, and that something about that didn’t sit right. He says that he was racking his brain to figure out why Cena would use such cowardly tactics when he realised.
He says that when AJ kissed John Cena last week, Cena knows that she was thinking about Dolph Ziggler the entire time. Cena’s response is interrupted by Vickie Guerrero making a match to take place later on, with Dolph Ziggler set to face John Cena.
After a video recapping the match between Kofi Kingston and Wade Barrett last week, Wade Barrett joins commentary as Kofi Kingston takes on Tensai in a match which sees Kingston get the victory, when he hits Tensai with Trouble In Paradise followed by a springboard crossbody for the 3-count.
After an interaction backstage involving Kane and Daniel Bryan, and it also being revealed that that Kane won a Twitter fan vote to face CM Punk later on in the episode, Daniel Bryan is pitted against Rey Mysterio in a match which sees Mysterio get the victory, when he hits Bryan with a diving splash for the 3-count.
After an interaction backstage involving Rosa Mendes and Alberto Del Rio, and Josh Mathews interviews Dolph Ziggler about his upcoming match, Dolph Ziggler goes against John Cena in a match which sees Cena get the victory, when he hits Ziggler with an Attitude Adjustment for the 3-count.
Afterwards, AJ enters the ring and waits for Cena to climb down from the turnbuckle after celebrating, at which point she grabs Cena and they kiss in another celebration of their own.
After a video recapping the appearance of of WWE Superstars on “The Soup”, Sheamus takes on Antonio Cesaro in a match which sees Sheamus get the victory, when he hits Cesaro with a Brogue Kick that knocks him out of the ring and unable to answer the ten count.
Afterwards, The Big Show makes his way out onto the stage with a steel chair, where he proceeds to destroy the chair with his hands after Sheamus tells him that he will show him exactly how barbaric he can be with a steel chair at TLC.
Next, Damien Sandow is pitted against Zack Ryder in a match which sees Sandow get the victory, when he hits Ryder with the Terminoose for the 3-count.
After Josh Mathews interviews Paul Heyman backstage, and repeating the video of Michael Cole’s interview with the three men from NXT (now known as “The Shield”, Kane goes against CM Punk (accompanied by Paul Heyman) in a match which sees Punk get the victory, when he hits Kane with the GTS for the 3-count.
Afterwards, The Shield make their way out through the crowd and approach the ring, looking as if they might have their sights set on Punk, but instead head towards Kane and attack him. Daniel Bryan hits the ring and attempts to help Kane, only to be beaten down too.
Ryback’s music hits and he makes his way to the ring, where The Shield attempt to attack him only for him to gain the upper-hand and throw them off. The intervention of CM Punk allows them to regain the upper-hand and hit Ryback with an elevated powerbomb in the middle of the ring.
The Shield start to leave through the crowd, while CM Punk stands tall in celebration over a downed Ryback, as Raw goes off the air.
