2012 End Of Year Awards: The Results
The results are in, and we can now reveal the winners of our 2012 End Of Year Awards, as voted by members of our Forums.

Best Match Of The Year
Just like in the WWE’s Slammy Awards for Match Of The Year, Triple H vs. The Undertaker at WrestleMania was voted as the winner.
Best Non-Wrestling Personality Of The Year
This one ended in a tie, as both Booker T and Paul Heyman equalled for the most amount of votes.
Best Show Of The Year
As with the 2011 End Of Year Awards, the vote once again went to WWE’s Monday Night Raw.
Female Independent Wrestler Of The Year
Unfortunately not many votes for this one, but it ended in a tie between Saturyne and Sara Del Rey.
Female Tag Team Of The Year
Separated by one vote, Miss Tessmacher & Tara beat off the other two competing teams.
Female To Watch In 2013
In a unanimous decision, Paige has been picked as the female who we should be seeing big things from in 2013.
Female Wrestler Of The Year
With her domination of most of 2013, albeit not always in a wrestling capacity, it is not a surprise to see that AJ Lee was voted the winner.
Independent Promotion Of The Year
As with the Female Independent Wrestler Of The Year, there were not many votes, but it ended in a tie between PWG and CHIKARA.
Male Independent Wrestler Of The Year
The third and final independent category, as well as another dependent upon write-in votes, there once again weren’t many votes, but this ended in a three-way tie between Kevin Steen, Adam Cole, and Noam Dar.
Male Tag Team Of The Year
With this category, it was not a surprise for those who have enjoyed them “hugging it out” on WWE TV, as Team Hell No won by a landslide.
Male Wrestler Of The Year
He may have been disappointed at not winning the “LOL Moment Of The Year” in the WWE’s Slammy Awards, but Daniel Bryan was declared the winner of this category.
Most Underrated Wrestler Of The Year
In a repeat of the 2011 End Of Year Awards, it has been declared that Tyson Kidd was once again the most underrated.
Shocking Moment Of The Year
Though there had been rumours that he was signing with the WWE, it may have been simply a matter of wishful thinking for some, but judging from the fan reaction at the time, it’s not really a surprise that this category was won by Brock Lesnar’s Return.
Superstar To Watch In 2013
Big things are being touted for the future of the former NXT Champion and recently débuted member of The Shield, as Seth Rollins was picked as the one to watch.
