Spike TV will re-air all 12 episodes of “The Ultimate Fighter” season one, as well as the show’s ground-breaking live finale, this coming Saturday, Sept. 13, beginning at 9 a.m. ET/PT.

As part of the marathon, Spike TV will mix in clips from a recently taped reunion special that took place in Las Vegas.

Season-one notables who were part of the reunion include season-one light-heavyweight winner and current title-holder Forrest Griffin, season-one middleweight winner Diego Sanchez, Chris Leben, Stephan Bonnar, Josh Koscheck, Nate Quarry, Kenny Florian, Bobby Southworth and Mike Swick.

“Interstitials” of the reunion, which was emceed by Joe Rogan and taped in August at the UFC Training Center in Las Vegas, will include the fighters talking about competing on the show and how it changed their personal and professional lives.

“The Ultimate Fighter,” which will soon launch with an eighth season, debuted in early 2005 and was the single biggest factor in MMA’s current growth explosion. The show has produced dozens of current UFC stars and two champions, Griffin and season-four winner (and former UFC welterweight champion) Matt Serra. UFC President Dana White continually cites a season-one finale fight between Griffin and runner-up Bonnar as the most important fight in UFC history.
