PPV Fusion: Money In The Bank 2013

The 2013 WWE Money In The Bank Pay-Per-View starts with Fandango and Dean Ambrose already in the ring being introduced, followed by their other opponents, for the World Heavyweight Championship Money In The Bank Ladder match.

The match sees Damien Sandow grab the briefcase to become SmackDown’s “Mr. Money In The Bank”, when he pushes his “Team Rhodes Scholars” tag team partner Cody Rhodes off the ladder and takes the victory for himself.

After a segment in which Brad Maddox is introduced as the new General Manager of Monday Night Raw, and in which he also then rolls a supposed tribute video for Vickie Guerrero (which instead is one which embarrasses her), The Miz takes on Curtis Axel (accompanied by Paul Heyman) for the Intercontinental Championship.

The match sees Axel get the victory and retain his title, when he hits The Miz with a hangman’s facebuster for the 3-count.

After a video hyping the next WWE Pay-Per-View, SummerSlam on 18th August, and a video recapping the events on SmackDown involving AJ Lee and Kaitlyn, AJ Lee (accompanied by Big E Langston) is pitted against Kaitlyn (accompanied by Layla) for the Divas Championship in a match which sees AJ get the victory and retain her title, when she applies the Black Widow to Kaitlyn, forcing her to tap out.

After a video hyping the début of the “Total Divas” show on 28th July, and after Josh Mathews, The Big Show, Vickie Guerrero, and Kofi Kingston comment on the events of the Pay-Per-View so far, Chris Jericho goes against Ryback.

The match sees Ryback get the victory, when he avoids Jericho’s Lionsault attempt and then rolls him up for the 3-count.

After a video recapping the opening of the WWE Performance Center, and a video recapping the events involving Alberto Del Rio and Dolph Ziggler that led to the upcoming match, Dolph Ziggler takes on Alberto Del Rio for the World Heavyweight Championship.

The match sees Del Rio get the victory and retain his title, when AJ Lee enters the ring and hits Del Rio in the face with her Divas Championship, prompting the referee to ring the bell and call for a disqualification due to it happening in full view of him.

Afterwards, Ziggler tells AJ that he didn’t need her to protect him and that he had this, before leaving as the crowd chants “You screwed Ziggler” at AJ.

After a video recapping the events involving Mark Henry and John Cena which led to the upcoming match, John Cena is pitted against Mark Henry for the WWE Championship in a match which sees Cena get the victory, when applies the STF to Henry and forces him to tap out.

After Josh Mathews, The Big Show, Vickie Guerrero, and Kofi Kingston comment on more of the matches held so far, and a video recapping the events involving the Wyatt Family’s début and attack on Kane on Monday Night Raw, Rob Van Dam, Christian, Daniel Bryan, Randy Orton, Sheamus, and CM Punk go against each other in a WWE Championship Money In The Bank Ladder match.

The match sees Curtis Axel attack Bryan at ringside towards the end of the match, before being taken out with a GTS from Punk, and Punk get screwed out of winning due to the interference of Heyman attacking him repeatedly with a ladder. Randy Orton gets the victory to become Raw’s “Mr. Money In The Bank”, when he pulls RVD from the ladder and catches him with an RKO, before following it up by climbing the ladder himself to retrieve the briefcase.

Orton celebrates his victory, as Money In The Bank goes off the air.
