The 2013 WWE Survivor Series Pay-Per-View starts with Justin Roberts introducing Triple H and Stephanie McMahon to kick off the show. Triple H and Stephanie welcome everyone to the PPV and talk about how they guaranteed that there would be no physical interference in the WWE Championship match.

They say that they will take it further by guaranteeing that there will be no physical interference in any of the matches at Survivor Series, and things will start with the team of Rey Mysterio, “The Usos” Jimmy & Jey Uso, Goldust, and Cody Rhodes taking on the team of “The Real Americans” Jack Swagger and Antonio Cesaro (accompanied by Zeb Colter) and “The Shield” Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, and Roman Reigns in a Traditional 5-on-5 Survivor Series Elimination match.

The match sees Roman Reigns get the victory as the sole survivor for his team, when he counters Mysterio’s 619 attempt by hitting him with a spear for the 3-count.

After a video promoting the availability of the WWE 2K14 game, an interaction backstage involving Randy Orton, Stephanie McMahon, Triple H, and Kane, and a video recapping the match between Curtis Axel and Big E Langston on Monday Night Raw, Curtis Axel is pitted against Big E Langston in a match for the Intercontinental Championship.

The match sees Langston get the victory and retain his title, when he hits Axel with a Big Ending for the 3-count. Afterwards, Renee Young interviews Langston in the ring about his victory, with him saying that retaining his title was like the Boston Red Sox becoming World Champions.

After an interaction backstage involving AJ Lee, Tamina Snuka, Kaitlyn, Rosa Mendes, Aksana, Alicia Fox, and Summer Rae, the “Total Divas” (comprised of Natalya, JoJo, Eva Marie, “The Bella Twins” Nikki and Brie Bella, and “Funkadactyls” Cameron and Naomi) go against the “True Divas” (comprised of AJ Lee, Tamina Snuka, Kaitlyn, Rosa Mendes, Aksana, Alicia Fox, and Summer Rae) in a 7-on-7 Traditional Survivor Series Divas Elimination match.

The match sees Nikki and Natalya get the victory as the sole survivors for their team, when Natalya applies the Sharpshooter to AJ and forces her to tap out.

After an interaction backstage involving Randy Orton and referee Charles Robinson, an attempted check-in with the Survivor Series Panel (comprised of Josh Mathews and WWE Hall Of Famers Mick Foley, Booker T, and Bret “The Hitman” Hart) is interrupted by Ryback, where he talks about how he can intimidate everyone but that it doesn’t make him a bully.

Ryback issues an open challenge to anybody in the back, and his challenge is answered by the return of the “World’s Strongest Man” Mark Henry, with the match seeing Henry get the victory when he hits Ryback with the World’s Strongest Slam for the 3-count.

After a more successful check-in with the Survivor Series Panel, and a video recapping the events that led to the upcoming match, Alberto Del Rio takes on John Cena for the World Heavyweight Championship in a match which sees Cena get the victory and retain his title, when he counters Del Rio’s Cross-Armbreaker attempt by hitting him with an Attitude Adjustment for the 3-count.

After an interaction backstage involving R-Truth, Santino Marella, “Los Matadores” Diego and Fernando (as well as El Torito), Fandango, and John Laurinaitis, and a video recapping the events that led to the upcoming match, CM Punk and Daniel Bryan are pitted against “The Wyatt Family” Erick Rowan and Luke Harper (accompanied by Bray Wyatt) in a Tag Team match which sees CM Punk get the victory for his team, when he hits Harper with the GTS for the 3-count.

Afterwards, it appears as if Bray Wyatt is going to step into the ring to fight Punk and Bryan himself, but he instead starts backing away again, leaving Punk and Bryan to celebrate their victory.

After a video hyping “Christmas Bounty” starring The Miz, an interaction backstage involving John Cena, Stephanie McMahon, Triple H, Kane, and Randy Orton, and a video recapping the events that led to the upcoming match, Randy Orton goes against The Big Show in a match for the WWE Championship.

The match sees Orton get the victory and retain his title, when he takes advantage of the distraction provided by Triple H, Stephanie McMahon, and Kane walking out onto the stage, and hits Show with an RKO that he follows up with a running punt to the head for the 3-count.

Afterwards, Triple H, Stephanie McMahon, and Kane continue to head towards the ring while applauding Orton’s victory, until they are interrupted by John Cena’s music hitting and him making his way to the ring.

John Cena and Randy Orton stare each other down while they hold their respective titles aloft, as Survivor Series goes off the air.
