The first match to kick off the show sees CM Punk taking on “The Shield” Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, and Dean Ambrose in a 3-on-1 Handicap match, with Punk getting the victory when he avoids a spear from Roman Reigns that instead hits Dean Ambrose, prompting Punk to take advantage by covering Ambrose for the 3-count.

After an interaction backstage involving Randy Orton and Vince McMahon, checking in with the TLC Panel (consisting of Josh Mathews, Mick Foley, and Booker T), and a video recapping a confrontation between The Miz and Kofi Kingston on the Kickoff (Pre-Show), “The Real Americans” Jack Swagger and Antonio Cesaro (accompanied by Zeb Colter), the team of The Big Show and Rey Mysterio, the team of Curtis Axel and Ryback, and the team of Goldust and Cody Rhodes take on each other for the WWE Tag Team Championship in a Fatal Four-Way Elimination Tag Team match.

The match sees Rhodes get the victory to retain the titles for his team, when he hits Mysterio with Cross-Rhodes for the 3-count.

After an interaction backstage involving “Prime Time Players” Darren Young and Titus O’Neil, The Great Khali, “Los Matadores” Diego and Fernando (along with El Torito), Vickie Guerrero, Brad Maddox, and Kane, Brodus Clay (accompanied by Tensai and “Funkadactyls” Cameron and Naomi) is pitted against R-Truth (accompanied by Xavier Woods) in a match which sees Truth get the victory, when he takes advantage of Tensai and the Funkadactyls leaving ringside, and rolls up Clay for the 3-count.

After an interaction backstage involving John Cena and Vince McMahon, Kofi Kingston goes against The Miz in a match which sees Kingston get the victory, when he hits The Miz with Trouble In Paradise for the 3-count.

After a video recapping the events that led to the upcoming match, Daniel Bryan takes on “The Wyatt Family” Bray Wyatt, Erick Rowan, and Luke Harper in a 3-on-1 Handicap match which sees Wyatt get the victory for his team, when he hits Bryan with Sister Abigail for the 3-count.

After checking in with the TLC Panel once again, Randy Orton is pitted against John Cena in a Tables, Ladders and Chairs match to unify the WWE and World Heavyweight Championships.

The match sees Orton get the victory to become the WWE World Heavyweight Champion, when a tug of war with a broken ring rope between him and Cena sees Cena sent head-first into a table, and Orton take advantage by climbing the ladder and retrieving both titles.

Afterwards, Orton celebrates in the ring and Vince McMahon’s music hitting sees him, Triple H, and Stephanie McMahon make their way out to congratulate Randy Orton and celebrate with him as TLC goes off the air.
