WWE Network Gets Ready For Launch

by Firefly on 10th January 2014

WWE have announced that the much-anticipated WWE Network will launch on the 24th February, at a price of $9.99 (plus tax, where applicable) per month with a minimum commitment term of 6 months.

Though initially US-only, it is stated that WWE hope to extend the WWE Network to other countries – such as the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, and more – by the end of 2014 or early in 2015.

One of the most appealing features of the WWE Network is likely to be the fact that the $9.99 subscription to the streaming service includes live and on-demand access to Pay-Per-Views, which via WWE.com currently cost $45 ($60 for WrestleMania) each alone.

In addition to this, plenty of classic ECW, WCW, and WWE shows and PPVs will be available, along with current and past episodes of NXT and Superstars, as well as various new and original shows produced specifically for the Network.
