PPV Fusion: Money In The Bank 2014

The 2014 WWE Money In The Bank Pay-Per-View starts with a video hyping the matches to take place later on in the night, followed by a video recapping the events that led to the upcoming match and “The Usos” Jimmy & Jey taking on “The Wyatt Family” Erick Rowan and Luke Harper for the WWE Tag Team Championship.

The match sees The Usos get the victory and retain their titles, when they each hit a diving splash onto Rowan and cover him for the 3-count.

After a video recapping the events that led to Dean Ambrose being added to the Money In The Bank Ladder Match, Ambrose talking about his plan for the match, and a video recapping the events that led to the upcoming match, Paige is pitted against Naomi (accompanied by Cameron) for the Divas Championship.

Paige gets the victory and retains her title, when she hits Naomi with a cradle DDT for the 3-count.

After checking in with the Money In The Bank panel for (comprised of Renee Young, Booker T, Christian and Alex Riley) for their thoughts on the matches so far and to come, and a video recapping statistics of Money In The Bank, Damien Sandow (dressed as Paul Revere) insults Boston, Adam Rose, and Rose’s “Rosebuds” before they face each other in a match.

The match sees Rose get the victory, when he hits Sandow with the Party Foul for the 3-count.

After some of the upcoming match’s participants talk about their plans to win, Seth Rollins, Rob Van Dam, Jack Swagger (accompanied by Zeb Colter), Dolph Ziggler, Kofi Kingston and Dean Ambrose go against each other in a Money In The Bank Ladder match.

The match sees Rollins get the victory by retrieving the briefcase, when Kane makes his way out and takes out Ambrose when it looks like he is about to win, before holding the ladder for Rollins to climb up it and win.

Afterwards, Triple H’s music hits and he comes out with Stephanie applauding Rollins’ victory.

After Byron Saxton interviews Randy Orton, and a video recapping the events that led to the upcoming match, “Rybaxel” Ryback and Curtis Axel take on Stardust and Goldust in a Tag Team match which sees Stardust get the victory for his team, when Stardust rolls Ryback up for the 3-count.

Afterwards, Axel attacks Stardust but not for long as Stardust and Goldust hit Axel with a double-team DDT.

After a video recapping the events involving Summer Rae, Layla and Fandango that led to the match coming later on, and Saxton interviews Fandango backstage until it is interrupted by Layla and Summer Rae, Rusev (accompanied by Lana) is pitted against Big E in a match which sees Rusev get the victory, when he applies The Accolade to Big E and leaves him with no other option but to tap out.

After checking in with the panel again, a video recapping Daniel Bryan’s appearance on the Kickoff (Pre-Show), an interaction backstage involving The Bella Twins and Stephanie McMahon along with a video recapping the events on Raw involving Vickie Guerrero and Stephanie, Summer Rae goes against Layla in a match with Fandango as the Special Guest Referee.

The match sees Layla get the victory, when she hits Summer with a kick to the head for the 3-count, after which Fandango and Layla kiss to celebrate.

After a video recapping the events that led to the upcoming match, and Justin Roberts introducing Triple H and Stephanie McMahon as they make their way to watch at ringside, Sheamus, Bray Wyatt, Alberto Del Rio, Cesaro (accompanied by Paul Heyman), John Cena, Randy Orton, Roman Reigns, and Kane face each other in a WWE World Heavyweight Championship Ladder Match.

The match sees John Cena get the victory and become the new WWE World Heavyweight Championship, when he hits Kane and Randy Orton with an Attitude Adjustment each (the latter landing on Kane) and then climbs up the ladder before retrieving the titles.

Cena celebrates in the ring while Triple H and Stephanie look on unhappily, as the PPV goes off the air.
