PPV Fusion: Hell In A Cell 2014

The 2014 WWE Hell In A Cell Pay-Per-View starts with a video hyping the event, followed by Dolph Ziggler taking on Cesaro for the Intercontinental Championship in a 2-out-of-3 Falls match to kick things off.

The match sees Ziggler get the first fall after kicking out from Cesaro’s pin attempt and catching Cesaro in a pin of his own, Ziggler also gets the second fall for the victory and retains his title, when he hits Cesaro with a superkick followed by a Zig-Zag for the 3-count.

After a video hyping the WWE Network, a video recapping the events from the end of Monday Night Raw, and an interaction backstage involving Randy Orton, Kane, Stephanie McMahon and Triple H, Nikki Bella is pitted against Brie Bella in a match which has the stipulation that the loser must be the winner’s personal assistant for thirty days or quit WWE.

The match sees Nikki get the victory, when she hits twin sister Brie with a torture-rack backbreaker for the 3-count.

After a video hyping the imminent release of WWE 2K15, and checking in with the Hell In A Cell Panel (comprised of Renee Young, WWE Hall of Famer Booker T, Alex Riley and Paul Heyman), “The Usos” Jimmy and Jey Uso go against Goldust and Stardust in a match for the WWE Tag Team Championship.

The match sees Goldust get the victory for his team to retain their titles, when Stardust hits a kick to the knee to interrupt the samoan drop attempt on Goldust and allowing Goldust to instead hit the Final Cut for the 3-count.

After a video recapping the history of the rivalry between John Cena and Randy Orton, Randy Orton takes on John Cena in a Hell In A Cell match which has the stipulation that the winner gets a future match against Brock Lesnar for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

The match sees Cena get the victory, when he hits Orton with an Attitude Adjustment from the corner and through a table for the 3-count.

After an interaction backstage involving The Big Show and John Cena, and a video recapping the events that led to the upcoming match earlier on the pre-show (Kickoff), The Miz (accompanied by Damien Mizdow) is pitted against Sheamus in a match for the United States Championship.

The match sees Sheamus get the victory and retain his title, when he hits The Miz with a Brogue Kick for the 3-count. Afterwards, Mizdow slides into the ring and mimics The Miz’s knocked-out state next to him, also copying the subsequent actions of The Miz that are forced upon him by Sheamus.

After an interaction backstage involving the Bella Twins, and a video recapping the events that led to the upcoming match, Rusev (accompanied by Lana) goes against The Big Show in a match which sees Rusev get the victory, when he applies The Accolade to Show and leaves Show with no other option but to tap out.

After a video hyping the next WWE Pay-Per-View, Survivor Series on 23rd November, Dean Ambrose talking to the camera about his upcoming match with Seth Rollins, and a video recapping the events that led to the upcoming match, AJ Lee takes on Paige (accompanied by Alicia Fox) in a match for the Divas Championship.

The match sees AJ get the victory, when Alicia rolls Paige back into the ring and AJ applies the Black Widow to Paige to make her immediately tap out. Afterwards, Paige slaps Alicia and yells that she hates her as she leaves.

After a video recapping the events that led to the upcoming match, Dean Ambrose is pitted against Seth Rollins in a Hell In A Cell match. Before the match even officially starts, fighting involving the top and sides of the cell result in both men crashing through the announcers’ tables and starting to be taken away on a stretcher each.

Ambrose leaves his stretcher and forces Rollins from his too, walking them both back to the cell (after a quick detour of bouncing off the side of the cell for Rollins, courtesy of Ambrose) and inside it to officially start the match.

The match sees Rollins get the victory, when Ambrose’s dominant position standing tall over Rolilns is plunged into darkness, with the cause being revealed as the return of Bray Wyatt when he attacks Ambrose.

Wyatt hits Ambrose with an uranage, leaving Rollins to crawl over with a wary look towards Wyatt and cover Ambrose for the 3-count.

Afterwards, Wyatt picks Ambrose up and hits him with Sister Abigail, before kneeling with his arms extended as the PPV goes off the air.
