The WWE WrestleMania 32 Pay-Per-View starts with Fifth Harmony singing “America The Beautiful”, followed by a video hyping the history of WrestleMania and the matches to come later on in the night, followed by Dolph Ziggler, The Miz, Sami Zayn, Stardust (with polka-dotted ring gear paying tribute to “American Dream” Dusty Rhodes, also using a polka-dotted ladder later in the match), Sin Cara, Zack Ryder and Kevin Owens facing each other in a 7-Man Ladder match for the Intercontinental Championship.

The match sees Zack Ryder get the victory, when he pushes The Miz off the ladder and reaches up to grab the title to become the new Intercontinental Champion.

After a video recapping the events that led to the upcoming match, Chris Jericho takes on AJ Styles in a match which sees Jericho get the victory, when he counters Styles’ springboard forearm attempt into a Codebreaker for the 3-count.

After Maria Menounos interviews Zack Ryder backstage about his Intercontinental Championship victory, and a video recapping the events that led to the upcoming match, “The New Day” Kofi Kingston, Big E and Xavier Woods (with a special entrance comprised of them coming out of a giant Booty O’s box dressed in an imitation of Dragon Ball Z characters) are pitted against “League of Nations” Sheamus, Alberto Del Rio and Rusev (accompanied by King Barrett) in a Six-Man Tag Team match.

The match sees Sheamus get the victory for his team, when Barrett hits a Bullhammer Elbow out of the view of the referee, which Sheamus follows up with a Brogue Kick for the 3-count. Afterwards, League of Nations celebrate and brag about how there was no three man team in history who could match up to them, only to be interrupted by Shawn Michaels, Mick Foley (dressed as Cactus Jack) and Stone Cold Steve Austin making their way to the ring.

The three WWE Hall of Famers attack the League of Nations and are left standing tall in the ring at the end of the impromptu battle. The New Day re-enter the ring and attempt to convince the Hall of Famers to dance along with them, with even Austin being convinced into it – until he flips a switch and hits Woods with a Stone Cold Stunner and the Hall of Famers continue to celebrate in the ring.

After a video recapping the events that led to the upcoming match, Brock Lesnar (accompanied by Paul Heyman) goes against Dean Ambrose in a No Holds Barred Street Fight which sees Lesnar get the victory, when he hits Ambrose with an F-5 onto a pile of chairs for the 3-count.

After a video recapping the 2016 WWE Hall of Fame induction ceremony, and the inductees being introduced on the stage by Howard Finkel, a video recaps the announcement on the Kickoff (Pre-Show) by Lita that the Triple Threat match will now be for the newly-unveiled WWE Women’s Championship.

After a video recapping the events that led to the upcoming match, Becky Lynch, Sasha Banks (with ring gear inspired by Eddie Guerrero and accompanied by her cousin Snoop Dogg, who sings a version of her theme with Raven Felix to introduce her) and Charlotte (with a robe made from Ric Flair’s robe worn to his WrestleMania 24 retirement match and accompanied by Ric Flair) face each other in a Triple Threat match for the WWE Women’s Championship.

The match sees Charlotte get the victory to become the new WWE Women’s Champion, when she applies the Figure-Eight Leg Lock to Becky Lynch, forcing her to tap out while Sasha Banks is prevented from re-entering the ring to break things up by Ric Flair, outside of the referees view.

After a video recapping the events that led to the upcoming match, Shane McMahon (accompanied by his three sons) takes on The Undertaker in a Hell In A Cell match with the stipulations that if Shane wins, he gains control of Monday Night Raw (and therefore WWE) and it also becomes the last time The Undertaker competes at WrestleMania.

The match sees The Undertaker get the victory, when he hits McMahon with a Tombstone Piledriver for the 3-count.

After Shane is taken away on a stretcher, and checking in with the WrestleMania Panel (comprised of Renee Young, Corey Graves, and WWE Hall of Famers Booker T and Lita), various superstars, including former superstars Diamond Dallas Page and Tatanka, along with a celebrity inclusion of Shaquille O’Neal, compete in the 2016 Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal.

The match sees Baron Corbin get the victory, when he eliminates Kane? from the ring.

After a video hyping WWE 2K16, Lilian Garcia introduces the Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders, who dance for a short while until The Rock’s music hits and he makes his way out. He initially comes out along, but goes back and grabs something from backstage before walking back out onto the stage.

It is soon revealed that what he has grabbed is a flamethrower., as he shoots it into the air before setting a construct made of the word “Rock” ablaze, before walking down the ramp, between the lines of cheerleaders, and entering the ring.

The Rock announces that WrestleMania 32 has set a new attendance record of 101,763. He starts to talk more before being interrupted by The Wyatt Family’s music hitting and them making their way to the ring.

Bray Wyatt says that he has chosen The Rock because he represents greatness and a lie, but Wyatt says that this is his moment and not The Rock’s, so he is going to eviscerate The Rock and make the fans watch every second of it.

The segment sees The Rock firing insults back and saying he knows who Wyatt is and talking about how talented he is, but says that Bray Wyatt is knocking on a door that he doesn’t want to be answered.

The Rock makes the confrontation into a match, revealing he was dressed to compete. His opponent is Erick Rowan, who he quickly hits with a Rock Bottom on for the 3-count for a 6-second victory, breaking another WrestleMania record.

The Wyatt Family surround the ring once again however, but John Cena’s music hits and he makes his way to the ring also ready to fight, as both men then take them out and celebrate before leaving.

After a video recapping the events that led to the upcoming match, Triple H (accompanied by Stephanie McMahon) is pitted against Roman Reigns in a match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
