WWE have today announced on WWE.com that they have released Alex Riley, Cameron, Damien Sandow, El Torito, Hornswoggle, King Barrett, Santino Marella and Zeb Colter.

In Barrett’s case, he has tweeted an image stating that he had decided last August not to renew his contract when it was due to expire, and that he came to an agreement with management to dissolve the contract a few weeks early.

Damien Sandow on the other hand is currently trending worldwide on Twitter, with the general sentiment being tweeted by many stating that his talent was wasted by WWE and that he deserved better treatment.
