PPV Fusion: Money In The Bank 2016

The 2016 WWE Money In The Bank Pay-Per-View starts with a video hyping the matches to take place later on in the night, followed by Enzo Amore and Big Cass, “The Vaudevillains” Aiden English and Simon Gotch, Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson and “The New Day” Kofi Kingston and Big E (accompanied by Xavier Woods) facing each other in a Fatal 4-Way Tag Team match for the WWE Tag Team Championship.

The match sees Kingston get the victory for his team and retain the titles, when he covers English for the 3-count.

After an entertaining interview segment involving Kevin Owens, Chris Jericho and Alberto Del Rio, Baron Corbin takes on Dolph Ziggler in a match which sees Corbin get the victory, when he hits Ziggler with the End of Days for the 3-count.

After a video recapping the events that led to the upcoming match, Dana Brooke and Charlotte are pitted against Becky Lynch and Natalya in a tag team match which sees Charlotte get the victory for her team, when she hits Natalya with the Natural Selection for the 3-count.

Afterwards, Natalya attacks Becky Lynch before leaving.

After an interview with Dean Ambrose, and a video recapping the events that led to the upcoming match, Sheamus goes against Apollo Crews in a match which sees Crews get the victory, when he takes advantage of Sheamus’ distraction in arguing with the referee and rolls him up for the 3-count.

After hyping the next WWE Pay-Per-View, Battleground on 24th July, and a video recapping the events that led to the upcoming match, AJ Styles takes on John Cena in a match which sees Styles get the victory, when Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows take advantage of the referee being knocked down, as they hit the ring, hit Cena with the Magic Killer, and drag Styles into the cover on Cena, and quickly exit again for the referee to recover and make the 3-count.

After a video hyping the Money In The Bank concept and upcoming match, Chris Jericho, Cesaro, Alberto Del Rio, Sami Zayn, Kevin Owens and Dean Ambrose face each other in a Money In The Bank Ladder match which sees Dean Ambrose get the victory after knocking Owens off the ladder and grabbing the briefcase.

After checking in with the Money In The Bank Panel (comprised of Renee Young, Corey Graves, and WWE Hall of Famers Booker T and Lita), and recapping the Kickoff match between “The Golden Truth” R-Truth and Goldust and “Breezango” Tyler Breeze and Fandango which saw Goldust get the win for his team, Rusev (introduced and accompanied by Lana) is pitted against Titus O’Neil in a match for the United States Championship.

The match sees Rusev get the victory and retain his title, when he applies The Accolade to O’Neil and leaves him with no option but to tap out. Afterwards, Rusev addresses O’Neil’s kids and tells them that Titus O’Neil is a loser – Happy Father’s Day!

After a video recapping the events that led to the upcoming match, Seth Rollins goes against Roman Reigns in a match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

The match sees Rollins get the victory, when he hits Reigns with a Pedigree for the 3-count to become the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion.

Rollins’ celebration is cut short when Dean Ambrose’ music hits and he appears from behind Rollins instead of from the entrance-way. He hits Rollins with the Money In The Bank briefcase in the face when Rollins turns around, and then hands it to the referee to cash it in to officially make an immediate match against Rollins for the title.

After the bell rings, Ambrose quickly hits Seth Rollins with Dirty Deeds for the 3-count to become the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion.

Ambrose celebrates around the ring and inside it, as Money In The Bank goes off the air.
