WWE announced on WWE.com two days ago that they have suspended Paige for violating the WWE Wellness Policy, with it taking effect from that date (10^th October) and lasting for sixty days as a result of being her second violation.

Not only is it such a short time after her first violation, but Paige appeared to claim on Twitter that her second suspension was despite her having a valid prescription or doctor’s note, also appearing to suggest that rules apply depending upon the status of the performer.

WWE has since responded to Paige’s claim regarding her suspension by revealing in a statement to the New York Post that the reason for the second suspension was because she “tested positive for an illegal substance, not a prescription drug”.
