PPV Fusion: WrestleMania 33

The 2017 WWE WrestleMania Pay-Per-View starts with Tinashe singing “America The Beautiful”, followed by a video hyping the worldwide attendance of the event and the matches to take place, and a segment involving WrestleMania 33 Hosts “The New Day” Big E, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods welcoming everyone to and kicking off WrestleMania.

After a video recapping the events that led to the upcoming match, Shane McMahon takes on AJ Styles in a match which sees Styles get the victory, when he avoids McMahon’s Shooting Star Press attempt and follows it up when he hits him with a Phenomenal Forearm for the 3-count.

After a video recapping the events that led to the upcoming match, Kevin Owens is pitted against Chris Jericho in a match for the United States Championship, which sees Owens get the victory, when he hits Jericho with a powerbomb to the ring apron before rolling Jericho back into the ring and covering him for the 3-count to become the new United States Champion.

After a video hyping the next WWE Pay-Per-View, the Raw-exclusive Payback on 30th April, and a video recapping the events that led to the upcoming match, Bayley, Nia Jax, Sasha Banks and Charlotte Flair go against each other in a Fatal 4-Way Elimination match for the Raw Women’s Championship.

The match sees Bayley get the victory and retain her title, when she hits Charlotte with a diving elbow drop for the 3-count.

After a video recapping the 2017 WWE Hall of Fame induction ceremony, and a segment with the 2017 Hall of Fame Class being recognised on the WrestleMania stage, the team of Enzo Amore and Big Cass, the team of Cesaro and Sheamus, and the team of Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson face each other in a Triple Threat Ladder match for the Raw Tag Team Championship.

Before the match can start however, WrestleMania Hosts The New Day announce that the match has now become a Fatal 4-Way Ladder match, with the remaining team quickly revealed as the returning Matt and Jeff Hardy.

The match sees Matt Hardy get the victory for his team, when he stands atop the ladder to retrieve the titles, for the Hardys to become the new Raw Tag Team Champions.

After a video promoting the WWE Network and the shows available on it, and a video recapping the events that led to the upcoming match, Jerry “The King” Lawler joins commentary and NBC Today Show host Al Roker acts as the ring announcer as The Miz and Maryse take on John Cena and Nikki Bella in a Mixed Tag Team match.

The match sees Cena and Nikki get the victory, when Cena hits The Miz with an Attitude Adjustment and Nikki hits Maryse with a Rack Attack and both cover for the double 3-count. Afterwards, Cena proposes to Nikki and gets an immediate “Yes” in return.

After a video recapping the events that led to the upcoming match, Triple H (accompanied by his wife, Stephanie McMahon) is pitted against Seth Rollins in a Non-Sanctioned match which sees Rollins get the victory, when he hits Triple H with a Pedigree for the 3-count.

After musical performances from Steven Marley and Pitbull, and a video recapping the events that led to the upcoming match, Bray Wyatt goes against Randy Orton in a match for the WWE Championship which sees Orton get the victory, when he hits Wyatt with an RKO for the 3-count to become the new WWE Champion.

After a video promoting “Total Divas” and a video recapping the events that led to the upcoming match, Brock Lesnar takes on Goldberg in a match for the WWE Universal Championship, which sees Lesnar get the victory, when he hits Goldberg with an F-5 for the 3-count to become the new WWE Universal Champion.

Next, Alexa Bliss, Becky Lynch, Mickie James, Carmella (accompanied by James Ellsworth), Natalya and Naomi face each other in a Six-Pack Challenge match for the SmackDown Women’s Championship.

The match sees Naomi get the victory, when she applies a submission to Alexa and leaves her with no other option but to tap out and thus make Naomi the new SmackDown Women’s Champion.

After another video hyping the next WWE Pay-Per-View, Payback, and a video promoting Final Fantasy XIV Online, a brief segment with The New Day sees them announcing the official attendance record for WrestleMania 33.

After “Good Ol’ J.R” Jim Ross joins commentary and a video recapping the events that led to the upcoming match, Roman Reigns is pitted against The Undertaker in a match which sees Reigns get the victory, when he hits The Undertaker with a Spear for the 3-count.

Afterwards, Reigns leaves, and The Undertaker stands in the ring with his entrance gear on as the crowd chants “Thank You Taker” and his music and lighting continues. One-by-one, The Undertaker carefully removes his gear once again and lays it in the middle of the ring, before exiting, approaching his wife Michelle McCool at ringside for a kiss, and then making his way up the ramp for what appears to be the aftermath of his final match.

Looking back for a moment, The Undertaker raises his arm in celebration, as the crowd continues to chant “Thank You Taker”, and he slowly descends the same way he entered the arena, after which the lights go out and the gongs sound, as WrestleMania goes off the air.
