PPV Fusion: No Mercy 2017

The 2017 WWE No Mercy Pay-Per-View starts with a video hyping the matches to take place during the night, followed by a video recapping the events that led to the upcoming match and The Miz (accompanied by “The Miztourage” Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel) taking on Jason Jordan in a match for the Intercontinental Championship.

The match sees The Miz get the victory and retain his title, when Axel hits Jordan with a cheap shot while the referee is distracted by Dallas, and The Miz rolls up Jordan for the 3-count. Afterwards, Renee Young interviews Jason Jordan about his loss, to which he states that he was unable to overcome The Miztourage and that he would love a rematch, and that although the crowd lovingly chants “You Suck” to Kurt Angle, The Miz really does suck.

After a video hyping the next WWE Pay-Per-View, the SmackDown-exclusive Hell In A Cell on the 8th October, and a video recapping the events that led to the upcoming match, Bray Wyatt is pitted against Finn Bálor in a match which sees Wyatt attack Bálor before the match officially starts, but Bálor officially start the match afterwards anyway after Wyatt proclaims himself to be a god and Bálor to be a coward.

The match sees Finn Bálor get the victory, when he hits Bray Wyatt with the Coup de Grâce for the 3-count.

After a video hyping the main roster début of Asuka at the next Raw-exclusive Pay-Per-View, WWE TLC on the 22nd October, and a backstage interview with Cesaro and Sheamus about their upcoming match, Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose go against Cesaro and Sheamus in a match for the Raw Tag Team Championship.

The match sees Rollins and Ambrose get the victory and retain their titles, when Rollins hits Cesaro with a knee that Ambrose then follows up with Dirty Deeds for the 3-count.

After a video recapping the events that led to the upcoming match, Bayley, Emma, Nia Jax, Sasha Banks and Alexa Bliss face each other in a Fatal 5-Way match for the Raw Women’s Championship.

The match sees Bliss get the victory and retain her title, when she hits Bayley with a DDT for the 3-count.

After another video hyping the Hell In A Cell Pay-Per-View, a video recapping the highlights of the No Mercy 2005 match between Eddie Guerrero and Batista, and a video recapping the events that led to the upcoming match, John Cena takes on Roman Reigns in a match which sees Reigns get the victory, when he hits Cena with a Superman punch and follows it up with a spear for the 3-count.

Afterwards, John Cena raises the arm of Roman Reigns in acknowledgement and respect of being bested, with Reigns giving Cena a nod of respect too before leaving. Cena himself takes a bow and leaves as a brief “Thank You, Cena” chant is heard.

After a video hyping the WWE 2K18 game set to be released on a variety of platforms in October, and a backstage interaction involving The Miz and Kurt Angle, Neville is pitted against Enzo Amore in a match for the Cruiserweight Championship which sees Amore get the victory, when he takes advantage of the referee being distracted and hits Neville with a low-blow followed by a roll-up for the 3-count, to become the new Cruiserweight Champion.

After a video recapping the events that led to the upcoming match, Braun Strowman goes against Brock Lesnar (accompanied by Paul Heyman) in a match for the Universal Championship, which sees Lesnar get the victory and retain his title, when he hits Strowman with an F-5 for the 3-count.

Afterwards, Lesnar and Heyman make their way up the ramp as No Mercy goes off the air.
