PPV Fusion: Hell In A Cell 2017

The 2017 WWE Hell In A Cell Pay-Per-View starts with a video hyping the matches to take place later on in the night, followed by “The New Day” Xavier Woods and Big E (accompanied by third member, Kofi Kingston) taking on “The Usos” Jimmy and Jey in a Hell In A Cell match for the SmackDown Tag Team Championship.

The match sees Jey get the victory for his team, when he and Jimmy hit Woods with a double diving splash (one of them including a steel chair) for the 3-count, to make The Usos the new SmackDown Tag Team Champions.

After a video hyping the upcoming release of WWE 2K18, a backstage interview with AJ Styles about his upcoming match being turned into a Triple Threat also involving Tye Dillinger, and a video recapping the events that led to the upcoming match, Rusev is pitted against Randy Orton in a match which sees Orton get the victory, when he hits Rusev with an RKO for the 3-count.

After a video hyping the next WWE Pay-Per-View, the Raw-exclusive TLC in two weeks, a video featuring Kurt Angle and Heath Slater announcing that KFC’s Colonel Sanders will be a playable character in WWE 2K18 as well as Kurt Angle, and a video recapping Daniel Bryan adding Tye Dillinger to the upcoming match earlier in the night, Tye Dillinger, Baron Corbin and AJ Styles face each other in a Triple Threat match for the United States Championship.

The match sees Corbin get the victory, when Styles hits Dillinger with a Phenomenal forearm and Corbin follows it up with a couple of big boots to Styles to knock him out of the ring, allowing Corbin to cover the prone Dillinger for the 3-count, to make Baron Corbin the new United States Champion.

After a video recapping the events that led to the upcoming match, Charlotte Flair goes against Natalya in a match for the SmackDown Women’s Championship. The match sees Charlotte get the victory but Natalya retain her title, when she hits Charlotte with a steel chair in full view of the referee, prompting the referee to call for the bell to signify a disqualification.

After a video hyping a new episode of WWE Story Time to air on WWE Network immediately following the upcoming episode of Raw, a “Fashion Files” segment featuring “Breezango” Tyler Breeze and Fandango and “The Ascension” Konnor and Viktor, and a video recapping the events that led to the upcoming match, Shinsuke Nakamura takes on Jinder Mahal (accompanied by The Singh Brothers) in a match for the WWE Championship.

The match sees Mahal get the victory and retain his title, when he hits Nakamura with the Khallas for the 3-count.

After a video hyping the upcoming episode of Monday Night Raw, and a backstage interview involving Kevin Owens, Bobby Roode is pitted against Dolph Ziggler in a match which sees Roode get the victory, when he reverses Ziggler’s tights-assisted roll-up into a tights-assisted roll-up of his own for the 3-count.

Roode is given no time to celebrate however, as immediately afterwards Ziggler hits him with a Zig-Zag.

After a video recapping the events that led to the upcoming match, Shane McMahon goes against Kevin Owens in a Falls Count Anywhere Hell In A Cell match, which sees Owens get the victory, when Sami Zayn pulls Owens off the announcers’ table to avoid Shane’s diving elbow from the top of the Cell, and afterwards moves Owens into covering Shane for the 3-count while urging the referee to make the count.

Medical personnel and referees attend to Shane McMahon, while Kevin Owens is also assisted by a medical person and a referee. Shane McMahon puts up a thumb from his stretcher, to indicate that he is okay, as Hell In A Cell goes off the air.
