PPV Fusion: Survivor Series 2017

The 2017 WWE Survivor Series Pay-Per-View starts with a video hyping the matches to take place during the night, followed by a video recapping the events that led to the upcoming match and “The New Day” Xavier Woods, Kofi Kingston and Big E taking on “The Shield” Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns in a Six-Man Tag Team match to kick things off.

The match sees Ambrose get the victory for his team and Raw, when The Shield hit Kingston with a Triple Powerbomb from the top rope and he covers him for the 3-count.

After an interaction backstage involving the Raw Women’s team and Stephanie McMahon, and a video recapping the events that led to the upcoming match, “Team SmackDown” Becky Lynch, Carmella, Natalya, Tamina (accompanied by Lana) and Naomi are pitted against “Team Raw” Alicia Fox, Bayley, Sasha Banks, Nia Jax and Asuka in a 5-on-5 Traditional Survivor Series Elimination match.

The match sees Asuka get the victory as sole survivor for her team and Raw, when she applies the Asuka Lock to Natalya and leaves her with no other option but to tap out.

After an interaction backstage involving Stephanie McMahon and Daniel Bryan, and social media videos of Baron Corbin and The Miz addressing each other ahead of their match, United States Champion Baron Corbin goes against Intercontinental Champion The Miz (accompanied by “The Miztourage” Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel, with his wife Maryse also watching on from the front row) in a match which sees Corbin get the victory for himself and SmackDown, when he hits The Miz with the End of Days for the 3-count.

After an interview backstage with Paul Heyman about the upcoming match between Brock Lesnar and AJ Styles, Raw Tag Team Champions Cesaro and Sheamus take on SmackDown Tag Team Champions “The Usos” Jimmy and Jey in a Tag Team match which sees The Usos get the victory for themselves and SmackDown, when Sheamus is hit with a diving splash for the 3-count.

After a video recapping the events that led to the upcoming match, SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair is pitted against Raw Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss in a match which sees Charlotte get the victory for herself and SmackDown, when she applies the Figure-Eight Leg Lock to Alexa and leaves her with no other option but to tap out.

After a video hyping the availability of tickets to WrestleMania 34, a video hyping the next WWE Pay-Per-View, the SmackDown-exclusive Clash of Champions on 17th December, and a video recapping the events that led to the upcoming match, WWE Champion AJ Styles goes against Universal Champion Brock Lesnar (accompanied by Paul Heyman) in a match which sees Lesnar get the victory for himself and Raw, when he counters Styles’ Phenomenal Forearm attempt into an F-5 for the 3-count.

After a video promoting the WWE 365 video on Kevin Owens airing immediately following Survivor Series on the WWE Network, and a video recapping the events that led to the upcoming match, “Team Raw” Kurt Angle, Finn Bálor, Samoa Joe, Braun Strowman and Triple H face “Team SmackDown” Shane McMahon, Randy Orton, Bobby Roode, Shinsuke Nakamura and John Cena in a 5-on-5 Traditional Survivor Series Elimination match to determine whether Raw or SmackDown wins overall due to having tied at three wins each up until this point.

The match sees Triple H get the victory for his team and Raw, with Braun Strowman as the other remaining survivor on Team Raw, when he hits Shane McMahon with a Pedigree for the 3-count. It is not without controversy however, as preceding this Triple H hit Kurt Angle with a Pedigree and put Shane McMahon on top for the 3-count to eliminate Angle.

Afterwards, Triple H celebrates in the ring with Strowman, until Strowman grabs Triple H by the throat and warns him not to ever try to cross him again. This prompts Triple H to attempt a Pedigree on Braun Strowman, however it is to no avail as Strowman easily counters it and hits Triple H with a running powerslam, followed by a second after “one more time” chants from the crowd.

Strowman leaves up the ramp and Triple H lies motionless in the ring, as Survivor Series goes off the air.
