THQ TO SPONSOR WORLD WRESTLING ENTERTAINMENT®’S SURVIVOR SERIES® EUROPEAN TOUR
London – October 30, 2008 – THQ Inc., on behalf of THQ/JAKKS Pacific, Inc., today announced the company will serve as the title sponsor of World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE)’s Survivor Series European Tour. The 22-date live tour will promote the launch of WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2009 through a number of on-site marketing initiatives across several major European markets.
The sponsorship will allow THQ to potentially reach more than 200,000 WWE fans expected to attend the live events across the UK, Germany, Italy, France, Belgium, Luxembourg and Switzerland through a host of brand activities tailored to each market, including ring branding, videogame sampling, crowd announcements and competition tie-ins.
