by Firefly on 28th February 2011

Pro Wrestling: EVE have now released some details on the forthcoming tournament that will take place at their two-night event titled “Return Of The Jetta” which takes place on the 8th and 9th April, in order to crown the Pro Wrestling: EVE Champion.

The first night is located at the Royal British Legion in Norwich, and will feature the First Round and Quarter Finals, with the First Round said to be comprised of five “Four-Corner” matches and a sixth match pitting the losers of the previous five against each other in a “Last Chance Battle Royal”.

The brackets of two out of the five “Four-Corner” matches have been announced, and are comprised of the following:

Match 1: WAW Gym’s Saraya Knight vs. WAW Gym’s Amazon vs. Rhia O’Reilly vs. European Empire’s Nikki Storm.

Match 5: WAW Gym’s Britani Knight vs. Melodi vs. European Empire’s Jenny Sjödin vs. TBA (will be kept a secret until the night itself).

The brackets of the other four “Four Corner” matches are yet to be announced, but what is known is that The Alpha Female, April Davids, Glamour Gym’s Carmel Jacob, Glamour Gym’s Sara-Marie Taylor, Shanna, Super Janey B, and WAW Gym’s débuting Liberty will all be entrants, and Jetta will be in the Semi Finals as she obtained a pass to them by winning the “3 Minute Warning” match at Pro Wrestling: EVE‘s “Empire Strikes Back” event last October.

The second night is located at EVE‘s usual home of The Delphi Club in Sudbury, Suffolk, and the tournament will continue with the Semi Finals and Final. Both nights will still contain non-tournament matches, however.

In other EVE-related news, Saraya and Britani Knight are set to début for SHIMMER on the weekend of March 26th and 27th,  both Rhia O’Reilly and Carmel Jacob recently competed for French promotion FFCP, and April Davids recently won the Under 55kg of the Watford Open Nationals’ kickboxing tournament.
