MEMBERS: Get an avatar for your comments

by Will Benson on 5th July 2008

For those who have already signed up to the site, you may have noticed that when you leave comments, a picture is left next to your name. By default, it’s a blank grey image. If you wish to change that to something more personal to you, simply head over to Gravatar and sign up with the SAME e-mail address that you have used here. Then, upload a picture, crop it, choose it as your default, and hey presto! You now have a functional avatar to personalise your comments and make you stand out from the crowd.

If you have not signed up yet, you can do so here.

And make sure you check out the BETA discussion forums, now open to you in conjunction with Registration is free, and we’d love to have you there.

Thanks for your patience. The site is still being finished, and you’re all lucky as hell to be a part of the BETA before full launch. Some things will look weird sometimes, and some things may change temporarily just as we test things out. I know, I know, “use a test server”, but we like to do it in the open to gauge public feedback, so what can you do? At the end of the day, the content is 100% and we love having you guys around us, so jump on board the bandwagon before we blast off.
