Ring Of Honor Sold To Sinclair Broadcast Group, Inc.

by Firefly on 22nd May 2011

Ring Of Honor, the third largest wrestling promotion in the United States, have announced that the promotion has been sold to Sinclair Broadcast Group, Inc.

As a result, not only will ROH be back on TV from September, but will apparently also be able to be viewed on their website. This should bring more visibility to Ring Of Honor, and hopefully means good things for the promotion going forward.

According to the announcement, many of the current staff will be staying with the promotion, and a press conference is being planned for the 24th June in Baltimore for news about the promotion’s future, and for answering questions.
