WWE Makes Changes to Opening Video

by Firefly on 13th July 2010

The WWE opening video shown before this week’s Raw (watch it below) had some new changes. Most notable are the removal of Jim Ross’s voice and the addition of Michael Cole’s and John Cena’s, as well as additional superstars from past and present featuring in the video such as “Rowdy” Roddy Piper, “Classy” Freddie Blassie, Sheamus, The Miz, Chris Jericho, and John Morrison.

Jim Ross has commented about this (amongst other things) on his blog, saying that the removal of his voice is a complete non-issue for him, especially as it relates to being replaced by people of yesteryear that have contributed, such as Gorgeous George and “Classy” Freddie Blassie, and that he feels that he doesn’t even belong in the same conversation as them.
