Though limited to only WWE matches, the Best Match Of The Year was voted to be CM Punk vs. John Cena at Money In The Bank.
Best Non-Wrestling Personality Of The Year
Options were available from both WWE and TNA in this case, and it resulted in a three-way WWE tie between Vickie Guerrero, Michael Cole, and Ricardo Rodriguez.
In a unanimous vote, WWE Monday Night Raw was declared the victor.
Female Independent Wrestler Of The Year
As a result of the most write-in votes, Madison Eagles was the winner of this one.
Options for both WWE and TNA once again, but another victory for the global giant as Pin-Up Strong (Beth Phoenix & Natalya) won this vote.
Another one limited to the WWE, Kaitlyn was voted the female to keep an eye on in 2012.
An equal number of representatives from WWE and TNA for this vote, but the winner was declared to be WWE’s Beth Phoenix.
Though mostly dominated by WWE feuds, there were two options from TNA available for this one, but the winner was voted to be the WWE feud between John Cena and The Rock.
Independent Promotion Of The Year
Another category dependent upon write-in votes, this one went to arguably the most well-known independent promotion, Ring Of Honor.
Male Independent Wrestler Of The Year
The third and final independent category, as well as another dependent upon write-in votes, this ended in a four-way tie between Tommaso Ciampa, Kenny King, Lionheart, and Mad Man Manson.
More options from TNA than WWE for this one, but it was another win for the WWE as Awesome Truth (R-Truth & The Miz) were crowned the victors.
Despite the various options from both the WWE and TNA, it seems that there was really only one person to win this one, as WWE’s CM Punkwas unanimously declared the winner.
Most Underrated Wrestler Of The Year
Only one TNA representative in this one, with the rest being in the WWE, but it was decided that this one went to Tyson Kidd.
Shocking Female Moment Of The Year
All WWE-centric options this time, but this one goes to Kharma’s Pregnancy Announcement.
Shocking Male Moment Of The Year
Another WWE-centric poll, this one goes to CM Punk’s Shoot.
As expected from the Superstar prefix, another WWE-centric poll, and this one decided that the one to keep an eye on in 2012 is Dolph Ziggler.
With options from both WWE and TNA, the most obvious winner of this one would have to be the 90-second Jeff Hardy/Sting match at Victory Road, but as it was completely forgotten about and therefore was never included in this poll, this one went to Michael Cole vs. Jerry Lawler (w/ Special Guest Referee: Stone Cold Steve Austin) at WrestleMania XXVII (27).
Congratulations to @NatByNature & @BethPhoenix for being voted “Female Tag Team Of The Year” #DivasOfDoom #pinupstrong http://t.co/Lc1RtpRb
