SD Fusion: Friday Night ZackDown!
The 13th July 2012 episode of SmackDown! starts with a video hyping that “Long Island Iced Z” Zack Ryder in going to be the General Manager of this episode, followed by Lilian Garcia introducing Ryder and him making his way to the ring.
Zack Ryder welcomes everyone to “Friday Night ZackDown!”, and he says that his first act as General Manager is to organise the world’s largest fist-pump with each and every one of the fans right now, as he then does just that.
He says that this is going to be the greatest SmackDown! ever, but after a “Woo Woo Woo, You Know It!”, Alberto Del Rio’s music hits and he makes his way to the ring with Ricardo Rodriguez.
Alberto Del Rio says that he thought that Teddy Long was a joke as a General Manager, but Ryder has to be kidding him. He says that on Sunday, he becomes the real World Champion, and that after that, he will rule SmackDown!.
Ryder corrects Del Rio by pointing out that this is “ZackDown!”, and says that the reason that he brought him there was because there is somebody who wants to get their hands on him, and as a matter of fact that somebody will be Del Rio’s opponent right now… said opponent is quickly revealed to be Sin Cara.
The match sees Del Rio get the victory, when he avoids Sin Cara’s Senton Bomb attempt and quickly follows it up by applying the cross-armbreaker to Cara, forcing him to tap out.
After an interaction involving Teddy Long and Zack Ryder backstage, as well as an interaction involving Ryder, The Big Show, and The Great Khali in which Khali is revealed as Show’s opponent later on, Darren Young (accompanied by Titus O’Neil and AW) takes on Primo (accompanied by Epico and Rosa Mendes) in a match which sees Primo get the victory, when he catches Young in a small package for the 3-count.

Afterwards, Sheamus starts to leave and turns around to celebrate on the stage, when Alberto Del Rio’s music hits. Sheamus’ attention is on the approaching car, which allows Del Rio to attack him from behind by surprise, applying the cross-armbreaker to Sheamus on the edge of the stage.
Del Rio stands on the stage looking down at Sheamus, as ZackDown! goes off the air.
