The 2012 WWE Money In The Bank Pay-Per-View starts with a video recapping past Money In The Bank cash-ins and hyping the upcoming Money In The Bank Ladder Matches, followed by the World Heavyweight Championship Money In The Bank Ladder Match to kick off the PPV, which sees Dolph Ziggler (accompanied by Vickie Guerrero), Santino Marella, Cody Rhodes, Damien Sandow, Tyson Kidd, Sin Cara, Tensai, and Christian taking each other on.

The match sees Ziggler get the victory to become “Mr. World Heavyweight Championship Money In The Bank”, when he climbs up the ladder and retrieves the blue briefcase.

After a video hyping the availability of “No Holds Barred” starring Hulk Hogan on DVD and Digital, and Josh Mathews interviewing Sheamus about his match with Alberto Del Rio later on, Justin Roberts introduces The Miz who is returning after a two month absence.

The Miz makes his way out and talks about how he is now a movie star and was treated with the respect he deserves, and after pointing out that he has won the Money In The Bank Ladder Match before and successfully cashed it in too, he says that he will be a part of the WWE Championship Money In The Bank Ladder Match too, and he says that he will win it and eventually become the WWE Champion – because he’s The Miz, he’s a movie star, and he’s awesome.

After a video recapping Mick Foley (as Mankind) winning the WWE Championship on the 4th January 1999 episode of Monday Night Raw, as well as the comment on WCW Monday Nitro that night that caused 600,000 viewers to immediately switch to Raw, to hype the upcoming 1000th episode, and a video recapping the events that led to the upcoming match, Alberto Del Rio is pitted against Sheamus for the World Heavyweight Championship.

The match sees Sheamus get the victory and retain his title, when he hits Del Rio with the Brogue Kick for the 3-count. Afterwards, Ricardo Rodriguez and Alberto Del Rio attack Sheamus, and once their attack is over, Dolph Ziggler’s music hits and he makes his way to the ring to cash in his Money In The Bank contract for a shot at the World Heavyweight Championship, much to the crowd’s delight as they have been chanting “We want Ziggler”.

The match never officially gets going however, as Del Rio attempts to argue with Ziggler, only for Ziggler to hit him with the briefcase instead, but when Ziggler turns around after handing the briefcase to the referee, Sheamus hits him with a Brogue Kick.

After a video hyping the upcoming 1000th episode of Monday Night Raw, which will feature Brock Lesnar, The Rock, and DX, and a video recapping Josh Mathews’ interview with Daniel Bryan on the Money In The Bank Pre-Show (click here to watch the Pre-Show on YouTube), Kofi Kingston and R-Truth join commentary as Darren Young and Titus O’Neil (accompanied by AW) go against Primo and Epico (accompanied by Rosa Mendes) in a Tag Team match.

The match sees Primo get the victory for his team, when he catches Young in a pin attempt for the 3-count. Afterwards, Young and O’Neil approach Kingston and Truth, with AW trying to keep them apart – until Truth throws water at AW, causing Young and O’Neil to have to drag AW away.

After a video recapping the events involving CM Punk, Daniel Bryan, and AJ, that led to the upcoming WWE Championship match, and Matt Striker interviewing AJ, CM Punk takes on Daniel Bryan in a No Disqualification match with AJ as the Special Guest Referee.

The match sees Punk get the victory and retain his title, when he hits Bryan with a backdrop from the top rope, through a table for the 3-count.

After a video hyping using Tout to interact with WWE Superstars and Divas, Curt Hawkins and Tyler Reks are pitted against Ryback in a 2-on-1 Handicap match which sees Ryback get the victory, when he hits Reks with the muscle-buster for the 3-count.

After a video recapping Chris Jericho’s WWE début on the 9th August 1999 episode of Monday Night Raw, to hype the upcoming 1000th episode, Tamina Snuka, Layla, and Kaitlyn go against Beth Phoenix, Eve Torres, and Natalya in a Six-Diva Tag Team match which sees Layla get the victory for her team, when Tamina hits Beth with a superkick and Layla follows it up with the Layout-neckbreaker for the 3-count.

After a video hyping the WWE’s next Pay-Per-View, SummerSlam on the 19th August, The Miz, Kane, The Big Show, Chris Jericho, and John Cena take on each other in a WWE Championship Money In The Bank Ladder match.

The match sees Cena get the victory to become “Mr. WWE Championship Money In The Bank”, when he repeatedly hits The Big Show with the briefcase from the top of the ladder, and it breaks off from the clasp holding it aloft.

Cena celebrates with the fans at ringside, as Money In The Bank goes off the air.
